Purpose
This
course offers education for professionals and those seeking in-depth
knowledge
on rainwater capture. This course is one of three parts leading to
professionals
accreditation offered by ARCSA. An approved application showing
knowledge and experience in rainwater harvesting, ARCSA membership
and fee, and
satisfactory completion of a written test are required for
professional accreditation. This program is offered to recognize
those individuals
with a high level of knowledge, proficiency and experience
in rainwater capture. This course is also available for those seeking
in-depth training,
but not necessarily ARCSA professional accreditation. See the ARCSA

Recognition: No recognitions are given for participation in this
course. However, satisfactory performance on the ARCSA accreditation
test and participation in the course will result in the accreditation
of professionals in rainwater harvesting related fields.
b.
Participation Requirements: No requirements necessary for participation
beyond the course. It is recommended that one seeks ARCSA testing in
a timely manner. (ARCSA accreditation test can be completed before
or after course attendance.)

Course Requirements: Rainwater Harvesting Professional
Accreditation – (RWH-PA):
This fee-based, 8-hour course is offered to the public
to prepare them accreditation testing required by the American
Rainwater Catchment
Systems Association (ARCSA). Recognition by ARCSA indicates
a high level of knowledge, proficiency and experience in
rainwater capture.
d.
Expectations: Participants will increase their knowledge regarding
rainwater harvesting, preparing them for testing within the ARCSA professional
accreditation process.

Time Commitment: Only the length of the program.

Service Examples: No service requirement.
