2008 Syllabus

Purpose

As part of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service programming efforts, County Extension Agents may offer rainwater harvesting classes.

a. Recognition: County programs are not eligible for those seeking Master Gardener “Rainwater Harvesting Specialist” or Texas Master Naturalist “Rainwater Steward” recognition.

b. Participation Requirements: There are no other requirements beyond attending a county program.

c. Course Requirements: Rainwater Harvesting County Programs – (RWH-CP): As part of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service programming efforts, County Extension Agents may offer rainwater harvesting classes.

d. Expectations: Participants will increase their knowledge in rainwater harvesting.

e. Time Commitment: Only the length of the county program.

f. Service Examples: No service requirement.

g. Available Resources: Access to the Rainwater Harvesting Taskforce Web site and access to Texas AgriLife Extension Service County Extension Agents.
