Description
A raingarden was built on the back side of the library in July of 2006. Once established, the raingarden will only contain plants that are native to that region of Texas. From the downspout on the building, the rainwater is directed under the sidewalk through piping. The rainwater then flows overland from the sidewalk to the raingarden. A small swale directs the rainwater to the entrance of the garden.
