Description
The Los Indios Family Learning Center’s roof slopes to the backside of the building and allows for collection of all rainwater from one side. New gutters were installed on the building to facilitate the collection system. Two 2,000-gallon tanks collect rainwater for use in future gardens and sports fields. Four 55-gallon rain barrels were installed under each of the air conditioning units to catch condensation. Water collected from these barrels will be used to water plants surrounding the larger collection tanks.
